Flopsy,
Mopsy,
Cotton-tail,
and Peter.
They lived with their Mother in a sand-bank, underneath the root of a very big fir-tree.

“Now, my dears,” said old Mrs. Rabbit one morning, “you may
go into the fields or down the lane, but don’t go into Mr. McGregor’s garden:
your Father had an accident there; he was put in a pie by Mrs. McGregor.”"
:: Synopsis
Singapore Repertory Theatre brings us on this wonderful journey
as we laugh and cruise along with Peter Rabbit. Peter is tired of doing the
chores and dealing with his goody two-shoes twin sisters. Peter Rabbit breaks the rules and steals from
Mr. McGregor's garden.
Knowing that he has gone too far and afraid of what his
mother might say, the only option for this little fugitive is to leave his warm
rabbit hole and run away into the big world – somewhere he can do whatever he
wants and be free of responsibility. But as Peter struggles to live with other
animals, from feisty squirrels to sewing mice, he begins to realise his life at
home might not have been so bad after all.
A Peter
Rabbit Tale is based on the beloved children’s classic by Beatrix Potter and
beautifully reimagined by Sarah Bundt and teaches us to treasure our family and loved ones.

It's always just kids and I (when the younger one was less <2 years old and FOC) to watch such performance as the tickets are a luxury for a family of 4. Now that both kids are 9 years old and 6 years old, and each needs a ticket, I've not brought them to watch any performance anymore. Nothing beats watching a theatre performance as a family on my birthday itself (most willing to show proof of DOB if required)!
ReplyDeleteI would like to bring my two boys each 7 years old and 5 years old for the performance especially the younger boy is a mischievous Rabbit (By horoscope)
ReplyDeleteWe hardly miss a show by The Little Company so this wouldn't be missed either. Hope to start off the year of the Rooster by winning something. Huat ah!
ReplyDeleteWould love to watch this shownas my girls love watching theatre peformances! I also know that it is going to be a meaningful show since the show centralises on the theme of kinship, which is what I hope my children will come to realise is the most important.
ReplyDeleteWould wish to watch this production because we love to watch performance, especially this show as it depicts the importance of family. Thank you for the giveaway :-)
ReplyDeleteI would like to bring my boys there, to drive home the point that the family will always be there for them and welcome them back, even if they have made poor decisions previously. This is a message that I would like to ingrain in them before they reach teenagehood.
