I Theatre GIVEAWAY: The Ant and the Grasshopper Family Package!

Perhaps it is one of the most well-known Aesop's Fables, The Ant and the Grasshopper is a tale which shares an important lesson of why hard work is crucial.

Written and directed by Brian Seward, Artistic Director, I Theatre, the play is suitable for children from 3 - 12 years of age.

:: Synopsis
Once there lived an Ant – a hard-working and ever-busy Ant who never seemed to have time for play or relaxation. And then there was Grasshopper, with time on his hands and nothing much to do all day.
Somehow they were friends. All day long Ant would work hard, without stop or rest, collecting grains of wheat and storing them carefully in her larder.
And Grasshopper would laugh, and say. ‘Why do you work so hard, dear Ant? Come, and rest awhile, listen to my song. Summer is here; the days are long and bright. Why waste the sunshine in labour and toil?’
But Summer does not last long – and soon Winter and the frozen cold will come…

What happens next? How will the grasshopper survive?

In I Theatre's 'trademark' style, this musical will be brought to life with colourful characters, puppets and catchy songs!

  16. I think appreciation is a super important value that is underrated with many kids today. teaching children to be less 'entitled' and recognise that alot of hard work on their parents' end goes into what they get, will help them be more appreciative and grateful.
